The Crush (1993)

"The Crush" is a psychological thriller film released in 1993, directed by Alan Shapiro. The story revolves around Nick Eliot (played by Cary Elwes), a successful journalist who moves into a guest house owned by a wealthy family. He soon becomes infatuated with their 14-year-old daughter, Adrian Forrester (played by Alicia Silverstone), who develops an intense crush on him. As Adrian's obsession deepens, she becomes increasingly possessive and manipulative, going to great lengths to eliminate any perceived threats to her sex relationship with Nick. With her cunning and deceitful tactics, Adrian sets out to destroy Nick's life and anyone who stands in her way.
